Jayfi JET-830

I got these a few weeks ago not knowing much about the company... If I'm honest I had not heard of them but how I wish I had heard of them sooner. I was a bit sceptical on how they would perform as my daily earphones. To my surprise, the Jayfi JET-830 earphones are great and well worth the money! Let's start with the box... well that's it really, there's not much on it. You get a nice picture of the earphones on the front with the Jayfi logo on the bottom. On the side you get very little information about the earphones themselves but what you do get is information about the drivers. In the box, you are met with the instruction manual. It talks about a “burning in” period to acquire the best sound. Also included in the box is a nice grey drawstring carrying pouch which has the Jayfi branding on the bottom. It’s a nice thing to have to help keep your headphones tangle free and it’s easier to care for them like this. There is a little plastic bag that includes two extra sets of different sized earbuds that will fit most ears and a clip to help keep the wires attached to you. If that isn’t enough, you will find that there’s a little plastic box which includes sponge tips for extra comfort (although the rubber ones are pretty comfy) which will mould to almost any ears. Under all this you are greeted by the earphones themselves which look very slick with a glossy black finish. I was unsure about the about the over ear memory wire but to my surprise it is not really noticeable and actually helps keep the earphones in place. The earphones themselves perform really well and are surprisingly loud. They are a bit bass heavy so if you like your music with a bit of a thud then these are really good (I found this to be beneficial when doing exercise or trying to get pumped before a game). They perform well with all music, although there were one or two songs where the vocals were drowned out by the bass (this could be down to the quality of the music and not the earphones themselves). As mentioned above they are comfy and do a brilliant job at noise isolation even with the rubber earbuds. They stay in the ear well and it’s pretty hard for them to come loose. They seem really durable. When taking calls with the earphones in, the inline microphone performs well giving the recipient a loud and clear response. I’m not sure whether they have a noise cancelling component but even in a crowded shopping centre the recipient could not hear the background noise. Overall these earphones are amazing for the price. The accessories that you get and how well they perform means the Jayfi JET-830 could easily go for a lot more, considering they are only £15 (at the time of purchase). I would highly recommend them to anyone looking for new daily earphones, sport earphones or even if you just want to listen to music. Go buy these earphones!.
